When I painted this series, I was frustrated by the intense pace of my life and needed a more positive outlook. In a culture where busyness and jam-packed schedules equate with worth, I craved meaning in the madness.

Ultimately it was in talking to God that I discovered a "window" in the midst of this chaos. Those conversations helped me see something more beautiful in my circumstances than I could've seen otherwise; they got me excited about life again. The vibrant color in these paintings represents that hope.
